This is our passion and we love to do it, but the travel can be tiring. There is nothing better to arrive where you are welcome and where it feels like home. EGGERSSOHN is home for us. The friendliness of the team, the warmth of the reception we get throughout Germany and the shared excitement for what we do makes us feel like we belong. It helps that Germany is one of the best markets for Amon-Ra and Directors’ Cut Shiraz. The lives we have chosen mean that we work while others holiday, but coming back to EGGERSSOHN always feels like a holiday with friends. Personally, I am proud to be part of the same portfolio that offers the wines of Ernie Loosen. His dedication to promoting a terroir he is passionate about has inspired and encouraged me. Like our Heartland wines from Langhorne Creek, the Mosel has not always been the most fashionable region in the world, but his unfailing efforts have helped us all to rediscover how truly wonderful a great terroir can be. Also, I love a good Riesling!”
